7 Go54 Affiliate Sales Objections You Can Turn into Wins

You’ve learned the ₦500 domain hook. You’ve mastered the 5-minute pitch.

Now there’s one thing standing between you and consistent sales:

Objections.

Every salesperson from Apple Store employees to car dealers to GO54 affiliates—faces objections. The difference between those who close and those who don’t?

Having a prepared response.

This article gives you the 7 most common objections Nigerian customers raise when buying hosting and the exact words to say that make the objection disappear.

By the end, you’ll be able to handle:

Let’s go.

OBJECTION 1: “₦25,000 Is Too Expensive”

Bad Response:

“It’s not that expensive compared to other hosts!”

(Defensive, doesn’t address their budget reality)

Winning Response:

“I hear you—₦25k sounds like a lot upfront. Let me break it down monthly: ₦2,090 Appx.

You probably spend more than that on data every month. Or on Uber to meet one client.

Here’s the thing: every month you DON’T have a website, you’re losing customers who Google you and find nothing. If just ONE customer finds you online and buys because you look professional, this pays for itself.

Plus, the alternative is:

₦25k is the cheapest professional option that won’t embarrass you when a serious client checks you out.”

Why this works:

OBJECTION 2: “Why Not Just Use Instagram/WhatsApp?”

Bad Response:

“Instagram isn’t a real website!”

(Dismissive of their current solution)

Winning Response:

“Instagram is great for engagement—keep using it! But here’s what you can’t do on Instagram:

Think of it this way: Instagram is your shop window. Your website is the actual shop where transactions happen.

Most of my clients use both—Instagram to attract attention, website to close sales and look credible.”

Why this works:

OBJECTION 3: “I’ll Just Use Wix or http://WordPress.com (Free)”

Bad Response:

“Those platforms are not ideal for you, especially not as a Nigerian business!”

(Vague, doesn’t give concrete reasons)

Winning Response:

“Wix is fine for testing an idea. But once you’re serious, you hit walls:

  1. Free Wix sites show their ads on your pages (not professional)
  2. Your domain is ‘yourbusiness.wixsite.com/home (looks amateur)
  3. You can’t export your site if you want to move later (you’re locked in)
  4. Paid Wix costs $17/month = ₦295,000/year at current exchange rates (MORE expensive than GO54 at ₦25k)

With Premium Hosting, you:

It’s like the difference between renting a shop month-to-month versus having a lease you control. Which would you prefer for a business you’re building for the next 5 years?”

Why this works:

OBJECTION 4: “QServers Is ₦18,500—Why Pay ₦1,500 More?”

Bad Response:

“We have better uptime!”

(Vague claim customer can’t verify)

Winning Response:

“Fair question. QServers is solid—I’m not going to trash a competitor.

Here’s the actual difference:

🔹 QServers Starter: ₦18,500/year, 6GB storage, ZERO addon domains
🔹 GO54 Premium: ₦25,000/year, 8GB storage, 2 addon domains included

That ₦1,500 difference buys you:

Also, think long-term: which company is still going to be here in 2030? A 17-year-old Pan-African provider, or a local company with no regional footprint?

You’re not paying ₦1,500 more. You’re investing ₦1,500 in future-proofing.”

Why this works:

OBJECTION 5: “I Need to Think About It”

Bad Response:

“Okay, let me know when you decide!”

(Gives them permission to forget)

Winning Response:

“Totally fair—this is a business decision, not an impulse buy.

Two quick things before you go:

  1. The NAIJA2026 discount expires March 31. After that, Premium goes back to ₦25k. So ‘thinking about it’ past March costs you an extra ₦5,000.
  2. What specifically do you need to think about? Is it the price, the features, or just not sure you need a website right now?”

(They’ll usually reveal the REAL objection—address that specifically)

If it’s budget:

“Some of my clients split it: ₦10k now, ₦10k in 30 days. GO54 allows that.”

If it’s ‘do I need this?’:

“Ask yourself: will your business be MORE successful or LESS successful in 2026 if customers can Google you and find a professional site instead of a dead Instagram link or nothing?

The businesses that grow in 2026 will be the ones that look credible online. That’s just reality now.”

Why this works:

OBJECTION 6: “I Don’t Know How to Build a Website”

Bad Response:

“It’s easy—just use WordPress!”

(Assumes technical knowledge they don’t have)

Winning Response:

“You don’t need to know! Here’s the thing:

Premium Hosting is just the foundation—like buying land before building a house. The actual building comes after.

Once you have hosting, you have THREE options:

Option 1: DIY with free templates
WordPress has thousands of free themes that look professional. You pick one, change the colors/logo/text, done. No coding. There are YouTube tutorials—I’ll send you links.

Option 2: Hire a designer
₦30k-80k for basic customization—but since you already have hosting, they only charge for design work, not setup. Saves you ₦50k+ compared to hiring someone who also charges for hosting.

Option 3: Use the included Website Builder
Drag-and-drop tool, works like Canva but for websites. Premium includes this free.

Most of my clients choose Option 3 to get started in one weekend, then hire someone to upgrade after 6 months when they know exactly what they want.

I can also walk you through the first setup on a quick call. You’ll have your first page live in 2 hours max—I’ve done this with people who don’t even know what ‘DNS’ means.”

Why this works:

OBJECTION 7: “What If I Need Help? Nigerian Company Support Is Usually Terrible”

Bad Response:

“Our support is 24/7 and super fast!”

(Every company claims this, nobody believes it)

Winning Response:

“Real talk—GO54’s official support can take 12-24 hours to respond during peak times like month-end when everyone’s renewing.

BUT:

The only time you NEED official support is for actual server problems—like if the entire hosting goes down (rare). For setup questions, DNS config, WordPress issues—we’ve got you covered informally.

Think of me as your unofficial account manager. I earn when you succeed, so it’s in my interest to make sure your site works perfectly.”

Final Word

Objections aren’t rejections.

They’re questions in disguise.

Answer the question. Make the sale.

Best,
The GO54 Affiliate Team

P.S. The affiliates earning ₦100k+ annually don’t avoid objections. They’ve just practiced the responses enough times that they’re automatic. Your turn.
